Art Nouveau World day : Detailed programme of activities

„The Hungarian Gaudí” – Ede Magyar, Art Nouveau architect of Szeged was born 140 years ago – the exhibition reveals with the help of documents from the turn of the century, the tragically short life of the genius artist. Become familiar with the unique features of Art Nouveau buildings, which define the atmosphere of Szeged’s downtown even today.

Tour related to the most beautiful Art Nouveau buildings in Szeged (in English and Hungarian). For participation in the 2-hour walking tours, register in advance in the Tourist Information Office.

Guided tour organized by András Monostori. The tour takes 2,5 hours, visits about 20 Art Nouveau buildings in the city and presents their local history curiosities. The walking guided tour costs 1000 HUF/person.
